Which SEO Service Is Right For Your Business?

We are not here to sell you the programme we want you to have. We want to help you choose the one that fits your needs, your budget, your time, and the way you want SEO to work in your business.

Norman, KickstartSEO’s AI-powered SEO strategist, sits at a desk beside a laptop and signpost, ready to help visitors choose the right SEO programme based on budget, time, and hands-on involvement.

Not sure which SEO programme fits your business? That is exactly why this page exists.

We know cost is part of the decision, so we will not hide from it.

We know your time is valuable, so we will be honest about how much of it each programme really needs from you.

And we know there is no point letting you buy into a programme that does not match your experience, your expectations, or the level of support you actually need.

So this page deals with the three buying factors that matter most:

Price   |   Time   |   Experience

If you already know what you need, great. If you are still working it out, this page will help you make a sensible choice before you book a call or request a free SEO audit.

If you just wanted the short version, here it is.

  • Optimiser Essentials is the most hands-on and lowest-cost option.

  • Optimiser AI sits in the middle and works best when you want support, a better structure, and less SEO work on your own plate.

  • Optimiser Premium is for businesses that want the highest level of support with the least hands-on involvement.

How Much Can You Afford?

Let’s start with the obvious one. Price matters.

We are not going to pretend otherwise, and we are not going to bury it under vague promises and shiny wording. If a programme is outside your budget, it is outside your budget.

Better to be honest about that now than waste your time.

Optimiser Essentials

At £69 + VAT per month, Optimiser Essentials is the lowest-cost option.

It is the right fit if your budget is tight, but you still want proper SEO direction, clear priorities, and the tools to work on your visibility yourself.

That lower price comes with a clear trade-off.

You will need a reasonable level of confidence using your website, a basic understanding of SEO, and the ability to implement changes yourself.

DIY should not mean doing it alone, but it still means doing the work.

Optimiser AI

At £149 + VAT per month, Optimiser AI sits in the middle.

It is for businesses that want more support, more structure, and less hands-on SEO work than Essentials, without stepping up to a fully managed service.

Norman takes on more of the analysis, guidance, and implementation support here, while you keep oversight of what is happening and approve the work that moves things forward.

For many businesses, this is the balance point between affordability, support, and sensible client involvement.

Optimiser Premium

At £349 + VAT per month, Optimiser Premium is the highest-investment option.

It is built for businesses that want the KickstartSEO team to handle the heavy lifting, with Norman working in the background and the client staying involved only when needed.

It is a bigger monthly commitment, but it also asks the least from you in day-to-day SEO time and hands-on effort.

Optimiser Premium has a three-month minimum term, so it is best suited to businesses that are ready to commit to a more managed start rather than test the water for a few weeks.

How Much Time Can You Give SEO?

If budget is your biggest deciding factor, the choice may already be clear.  If it is not, the next question matters just as much.

How much time can you realistically give SEO each month?

This is where many people find the right programme. Not because of price, but because of reality.

You may like the idea of doing more yourself, but if you do not have the time to follow through, that matters. A cheaper programme is not better value if it sits there untouched while your SEO gathers dust.

1. Do It Yourself SEO

Optimiser Essentials needs the most time from you.

It works best for business owners who are happy to stay hands-on, work through priorities, make changes themselves, and keep things moving consistently.

If you already have a decent grip on your website and can make time for SEO regularly, Essentials can be a very sensible choice.

If your diary is already a car crash, it probably is not.

2. Done With You SEO

Optimiser AI reduces the amount of SEO time and skill needed from you, but it does not remove your involvement.

To get the best from your time with Norman, you should expect to commit a minimum of 15 minutes a week, and around 2 hours a month on average.

Norman handles much of the analysis, guidance, and implementation, so you are not doing all the SEO yourself. But you do still need to stay engaged, give approvals, and respond when needed.

You will also need to manually publish blogs and new content pages to your website, so this is not a fully hands-off service.

3. Done For You SEO

Optimiser Premium needs the least time from you.

This is the right fit if you want the KickstartSEO team to handle the heavy lifting while you stay involved, mainly when we need business input, decisions, or feedback.

You are trusting us to do your SEO while you run your business.

You are not expected to set aside regular SEO time each week. You just need to stay responsive enough to keep things moving when your input is needed.

That is why Premium suits busy business owners who want SEO handled properly without another job landing on their desk.

How Hands-On And Experienced Do You Want To Be?

This is the third buying factor, and it matters more than some people expect. A programme can look affordable. It can even look manageable on paper.

But if it asks for more SEO confidence, more website control, or more hands-on involvement than you can realistically give, it will become frustrating very quickly.

Optimiser Essentials

Optimiser Essentials is for people who want to stay firmly hands-on.

It suits business owners who are comfortable working on their own website, can follow SEO direction, and have enough confidence to make changes properly.

You do not need to be an SEO expert, but you do need a minimum level of SEO understanding and the practical ability to carry out the work.

If that sounds fine, Essentials can be a strong low-cost fit.

If that already sounds like a chore, it is probably the wrong programme.

Optimiser AI

Optimiser AI is for people who still want visibility and oversight, but do not want to carry as much of the SEO burden themselves.

Norman takes on more of the analysis, priorities, and implementation here, and we guide the work more closely. You stay involved, you approve what needs approval, and you keep oversight of what is happening, but you are not expected to figure everything out on your own.

You will still need to publish blogs and new content pages manually, so some website confidence is still helpful.

But compared with Essentials, the skill barrier is lower and the support level is higher.

Optimiser Premium

Optimiser Premium is for people who want the highest level of support and the least hands-on responsibility.

You are trusting us to do your SEO while you run your business.

The KickstartSEO team handles the heavy lifting, Norman works in the background, and your role is mainly to provide business input, feedback, and approvals when needed.

This is the best fit if you do not want SEO turning into another part-time job, or if you know you are unlikely to keep a more hands-on programme moving.

Who Should Buy Each Programme, And Who Should Not?

If you already know which programme feels like the right fit, good. If you are still unsure, this is where it usually becomes clear.

Each of these programmes is built to get results. The key is choosing the one that fits your business, your time, and the level of support you actually need.

Problems usually start when people choose on price alone, or go for the level of support they like the sound of rather than the one they will actually use properly.

This section is here to help you avoid that mistake.

If Your Needs Change, We’ll Change With You

Choosing a programme now does not mean you are locked into that level of support forever.

As your business changes, the right level of SEO support can change too. Some clients move up because they realise they need more help, more structure, or less hands-on SEO work. Others start with the highest level of support, get the heavy lifting done, and then decide to take more of the ongoing SEO in-house.

Optimiser Essentials

Optimiser Essentials can move up to Optimiser AI or Optimiser Premium.

Optimiser AI

Optimiser AI can move up to Optimiser Premium, but not down to Optimiser Essentials.

Optimiser Premium

Optimiser Premium can move down to Optimiser AI, but not to Optimiser Essentials.

That is not an arbitrary rule. It is down to how the work is done.

Some clients start on Optimiser Premium because they want us to do the heavy lifting properly from the start. After three months or more, once that work is in place, moving to Optimiser AI can make perfect sense for clients who want to take a more active role while keeping Norman involved and the structure intact.

Other clients begin on Optimiser Essentials or Optimiser AI, then realise they need more support, more implementation help, or less responsibility on their own shoulders. In those cases, moving up makes perfect sense too.

What does not make sense is moving from Optimiser AI or Optimiser Premium into Optimiser Essentials.

Once Norman is fully involved in Optimiser AI or Optimiser Premium, your SEO is no longer operating in the lighter Essentials model. Strategy, implementation, and content changes are already being handled in a deeper and more integrated way.

To move back to Optimiser Essentials would mean throwing that out and starting again from scratch.

That would mean losing valuable SEO work that may already be strengthening your website, your content, and your visibility in search. It is not a sensible move, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Optimiser Premium also has a three-month minimum term, so it is not designed as a one-month stepping stone before moving elsewhere.

If your needs change, we will change with you. We will just be honest about which moves make sense, which ones do not, and why.

We are not trying to sell you the programme we want you to have. We want you on the programme that fits your situation and solves your problem.
